BETRAYAL
When you promised to love me
When you told me your shoulders
Were mine to cry on
I thought it was an everlasting love
   
You promised on that day
You aren’t going away
No matter what comes our way
But you left
When I least expected
Yes, you left
When I needed you the most
To share my thoughts and emotions with
But here am I lonely today

Where did I go wrong?
Was it so unforgiving?
Why did you betray me?
